The Hunter Lite – Ruger American Short Action is a purpose-built hunting stock that is designed for Ruger American and Ruger American Gen II short-actions. The Hunter Lite streamlines the design of our original Hunter Stocks, reducing the weight and size to provide a fully featured upgrade for those wanting a hunting rifle that won’t weigh them down during extended outdoor pursuits. The result is a stock that weighs approx. 2 lbs., 6 oz. or almost 25% less than the Hunter American Stock, with a front profile that’s almost 25% narrower than the original. Featuring enhanced ergonomics, the Hunter Lite Stock – Ruger American Short Action is compatible for both right and left-hand setups by simply swapping out an inlet insert on the stock. Other key features of the Hunter Lite include an aluminum V-bedding block featuring reinforced steel pillars to prevent compression and deformation while shooting. The stock also has integral sling swivel studs for use with a variety of slings and bipods. The enlarged trigger guard allows comfortable use with gloves and easy access to the ambidextrous mag release. The Hunter Lite is compatible with barrel profiles up to Medium Palma and it includes multiple M-LOK slots accommodate your choice of M-LOK accessories. Made in the USA.
